Silicon Valley’s mission to conquer aging rages on, as two high-profile VCs are leading a new Series C in the field.
BioAge Labs, a Richmond, CA-based biotech, announced a $90 million fundraising round co-led by Andreessen Horowitz and serial entrepreneur Elad Gil of Airbnb, Stripe and Twitter fame. The cash is expected to help develop the company’s pipeline, augment its AI-based technology that maps the molecular pathways impacting longevity and further expand testing capabilities in predictive models of age-related diseases.
