Ab­b­Vie takes next step in Ukraine, do­nat­ing all Rus­sia prof­its to re­lief

Last month, Ab­b­Vie joined phar­mas No­var­tis and Eli Lil­ly to dis­tance them­selves from Rus­sia in light of that coun­try’s ag­gres­sion against Ukraine — by sus­pend­ing its op­er­a­tions for their aes­thet­ics prod­ucts.

Ab­b­Vie said in a state­ment at the time that the phar­ma “has tem­porar­i­ly sus­pend­ed op­er­a­tions for all our aes­thet­ics prod­ucts in Rus­sia,” adding that the com­pa­ny has no man­u­fac­tur­ing plants in the re­gion and would con­tin­ue to mon­i­tor their em­ploy­ees in Ukraine and the sur­round­ing area.
