Ac­tor Er­ic Ston­estreet talks about his re­al 'mod­ern fam­i­ly' in aware­ness cam­paign for eye dis­ease

“Mod­ern Fam­i­ly” ac­tor Er­ic Ston­estreet is shar­ing sto­ries about his re­al-life fam­i­ly to raise aware­ness for the age-re­lat­ed eye con­di­tion ge­o­graph­ic at­ro­phy (GA).

As part of a new un­brand­ed cam­paign with Astel­las’ Iver­ic Bio, Ston­estreet and his moth­er, Jamey, get can­did in a three-minute-long video about his grand­moth­er’s strug­gles with GA. Jamey has al­so been di­ag­nosed with age-re­lat­ed mac­u­lar de­gen­er­a­tion (AMD), which can ad­vance to GA and cause ir­re­versible vi­sion loss.
