Reagent mak­er Al­pha Tekno­va cuts 15% of work­ers, ter­mi­nates com­mer­cial, peo­ple ex­ec roles amid down­turn

Reagent man­u­fac­tur­er Al­pha Tekno­va is trim­ming 15% of its work­ers to save around $6.4 mil­lion, ac­cord­ing to a Tues­day SEC fil­ing. The com­pa­ny’s chief com­mer­cial of­fi­cer, Ken Gel­haus, and chief peo­ple of­fi­cer, Lisa Mc­Cann, are al­so ex­it­ing, and their roles were re­moved ef­fec­tive in March.

The com­pa­ny’s stock $TKNO was down by 12.44% at mar­ket close on Tues­day, the low­est it’s been since No­vem­ber 2023.
