Reagent maker Alpha Teknova cuts 15% of workers, terminates commercial, people exec roles amid downturn
Reagent manufacturer Alpha Teknova is trimming 15% of its workers to save around $6.4 million, according to a Tuesday SEC filing. The company’s chief commercial officer, Ken Gelhaus, and chief people officer, Lisa McCann, are also exiting, and their roles were removed effective in March.
The company’s stock $TKNO was down by 12.44% at market close on Tuesday, the lowest it’s been since November 2023.
