Ama­zon jumps in­to de­cen­tral­ized tri­als push as AWS part­ners with start­up to cut down on in­ef­fi­cien­cies

As the push to de­cen­tral­ize clin­i­cal tri­als con­tin­ues to gain steam, one of the biggest com­pa­nies in the world is jump­ing head­first in­to the ef­forts.

Ama­zon Web Ser­vices is sign­ing on to a col­lab­o­ra­tion with THREAD, a tech­nol­o­gy com­pa­ny with a DCT plat­form and ser­vice of­fer­ings, to com­bine their AI and ma­chine learn­ing tech­nolo­gies to make clin­i­cal tri­als more ef­fi­cient. Fi­nan­cial terms of the deal were not dis­closed.
