Astel­las CEO Nao­ki Oka­mu­ra says part­ner­ships 'crit­i­cal' to growth plans

Nao­ki Oka­mu­ra said 2023 is shap­ing up to be a “very ex­cit­ing as well as busy” year for Astel­las, just over two months in­to his new role at the helm.

Oka­mu­ra stepped in for for­mer CEO Ken­ji Ya­sukawa in April, five years in­to a big R&D re­vamp. He’s been at the com­pa­ny for 37 years, most re­cent­ly serv­ing as chief strat­e­gy of­fi­cer, and re­it­er­at­ed plans for growth in an in­ter­view with End­points News on Tues­day.
