AstraZeneca expands chronic kidney disease 'Target' campaign for Farxiga

In its latest commercial for Farxiga, AstraZeneca prompts people to ask their doctor for their kidney numbers. But what does that mean? It’s a patient-friendly way to describe eGFR or uACR testing that helps determine kidney function, said Sarah Walters, VP of cardiovascular, renal and metabolic diseases at AstraZeneca.

She added, “We’re tying to give them some language that opens up the dialogue with physicians.”
