Back Bay makes deal with Norway's DNB in banking and advisory partnership
The Norwegian investment bank DNB will take a “meaningful minority stake” in Back Bay Life Science Advisors in a partnership that Back Bay says will help both companies expand their offerings to biotech and pharma.
Back Bay offers advisory and investment banking services, and the partnership will help it get involved in bigger transactions that the boutique firm might have previously seen pass on to other advisors. The company, which has about 30 staffers, is based in Boston and has been involved in a long list of licensing and pipeline deals.
