Bay­er re­cruits on­col­o­gy vet Chris­tine Roth from GSK to lead on­col­o­gy busi­ness unit

Bay­er has a new head of on­col­o­gy in its phar­ma­ceu­ti­cals di­vi­sion — and she comes from GSK.

Chris­tine Roth, a for­mer se­nior VP and head of on­col­o­gy at GSK, will be lead­ing Bay­er’s on­col­o­gy strate­gic busi­ness unit while based in the US, the phar­ma an­nounced. And she’s ar­riv­ing on the heels of new Phase III da­ta that could give their can­cer block­buster hope­ful Nube­qa a bet­ter shot at mar­ket­ing glo­ry.
