
Biosplice, a former anti-aging unicorn, slashes staff in latest episode of its long fall from grace
Anti-aging startup Biosplice has had quite the downhill stumble after debuting to much fanfare back in 2016 under a different moniker. Now, the biotech is laying off a large swath of its staff as it undergoes a pipeline overhaul.
Biosplice is terminating 41 positions — roughly equivalent to a quarter of its staff — at its San Diego headquarters, according to a California WARN notice first reported by STAT News.
