CVS will shut down clinical trials unit that it launched during Covid
CVS Health is shutting down the clinical trials business that it launched just two years ago, part of an effort to focus on its core business.
CVS confirmed the move in a statement: “We continually evaluate our portfolio of assets to ensure they are aligned with our long-term strategic priorities,” a spokesman for the company said in a text. “We’re winding down our Clinical Trial Services business in a phased way, with a full exit expected by December 31, 2024.”
