Bristol Myers Squibb is laying off 48 employees in New Jersey, according to a WARN notice from the state.
The notice lists May 31 as the effective date, but it remains unclear what roles are being cut.
A Bristol Myers spokesperson told Endpoints News that the pharma’s business model is evolving:
As we move forward in 2023, we are continuing to deliver on our long-term business strategy by aligning resources to best support our operating model and our portfolio evolution.
