Chamber of Commerce looks to halt drug price negotiations before they begin
With all eyes on several pending lawsuits over CMS’ new drug price-setting abilities, the US Chamber of Commerce yesterday took its suit one step further, calling on an Ohio district court to halt CMS’ ongoing processes while the litigation plays out.
The lawsuit comes less than two months before CMS is expected to announce the first 10 drugs that will have to submit to the negotiation process or face steep penalties.
