Charles Riv­er touts first-quar­ter man­u­fac­tur­ing rev­enue, says Chi­na bill is ‘net pos­i­tive’

Charles Riv­er Lab­o­ra­to­ries’ man­u­fac­tur­ing arm de­liv­ered a large rev­enue jump in the first quar­ter of the year ow­ing to an uptick in cus­tomer ac­tiv­i­ty.

The com­pa­ny al­so not­ed that it ex­pects to ben­e­fit from the Biose­cure Act. “We are an al­ter­na­tive for folks that ei­ther can’t or don’t want to con­tin­ue to do their work in Chi­na. So, I think di­rec­tion­al­ly it is some­thing pos­i­tive to watch. We would be sur­prised if it doesn’t have a ben­e­fit to us,” CEO James Fos­ter said dur­ing its Thurs­day morn­ing earn­ings call.
