Chinese imports of common cancer drug run dry, FDA says
China’s Qilu Pharmaceutical has distributed all of the chemotherapy cisplatin that was imported as a result of the shortage of the common cancer drug.
The announcement was made via FDA’s drug shortage page for cisplatin as of Sept. 18. Other updates from Monday included Fresenius Kabi saying its supplies of the drug are on backorder, but WG Critical Care says it has some supplies under allocation.
