#CPHI22: Con­tract man­u­fac­tur­ers will still be nav­i­gat­ing glob­al chal­lenges in­to next year

The con­tract man­u­fac­tur­ing busi­ness in 2022 has ap­peared to be hum­ming along, de­spite wider glob­al chal­lenges. New build­ing projects, con­tracts and re­search have been go­ing on through­out the year.

Ex­perts and an­a­lysts who have been watch­ing the field have picked up on a few trends in the in­dus­try. Fiona Bar­ry, an ed­i­tor at Pharm­source, told End­points News that there has been talk through the in­dus­try that com­pa­nies may be look­ing to on­shore more op­er­a­tions, in­clud­ing Eu­ro­pean and US com­pa­nies putting op­er­a­tions in do­mes­tic set­tings.
