CSL takes the wraps off a big new R&D center as it eyes vaccines, cell and gene therapies
CSL may still be best known as one of the world’s largest plasma providers, but as the Australian player opens a new R&D hub in Marburg, Germany, it’s hoping to make its name in a whole lot more.
Almost three years after starting construction, CSL announced its M600 R&D center — which cost about €150 million — will be completed later this year. On top of labs and workspace, the company is carving out some room for startups from the region.
