Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why is Endpoints News changing how newsletter links work?
We’re making this change to provide a more secure, consistent, and personalized experience for readers while sustaining our newsroom’s ability to produce high-quality, independent reporting. This change aligns how newsletter links work with our existing subscription model to ensure that access to our journalism reflects each reader’s account status.
2. Do I need to log in to read articles from newsletters now? How often will I need to log in?
Yes. As part of a system update, you’ll now be asked to log in when accessing articles from newsletters. Previously, newsletter links temporarily bypassed that step. This change ensures access reflects your registration or subscription level.
Most readers will only need to log in every two weeks, depending on browser and device settings. You can log in using your password or request a one-time login link by email (no password required).

3. How do I create an account or find out if I already have one?
You can create an account on the sign up page. If an account with the email address you use already exists, we will let you know when you click subscribe.
4. Why does it say my email already exists when I try to sign up?
If you see this message, it means you’ve already signed up. You can log in using your existing credentials or reset your password if needed.
5. How do I reset my password?
If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it by entering your email address here. We’ll send instructions to your inbox — be sure to check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see it. The reset link is valid for 24 hours and can only be used once.
6. What should I do if I didn’t receive my password reset or login link email?
First, check your spam or junk folder. If you still don’t see it after 15 minutes, reach out to us at help@endpointsnews.com, and we’ll assist you directly.
7. What types of subscriptions does Endpoints News offer? What’s the difference between a registered user, Insider, and Enterprise subscription?
We deliver independent reporting on the business of medicine. Our subscription model ensures we can produce high-quality journalism without compromising editorial integrity. Here’s what each tier includes:
- Free Registered User
Get access to a limited number of articles and sign up for most of our newsletters. Create an account. - Insider (Premium Individual Subscription)
Unlimited access to all articles, full access to our newsletters, and exclusive discounts to Endpoints events around the world. Upgrade to Insider. - Enterprise (Premium Organization-Wide Subscription)
Built for teams and organizations. Once activated, everyone at your organization can access premium content using their organization-issued email — no individual subscription management required. Request a quote.
8. Can I still forward stories to colleagues or friends?
Yes, you’re welcome to share stories. Please note that anyone you forward a link to will need to log in or create their own account to read the full article.
Sharing within your organization? An Enterprise subscription may be a better fit.
9. Why can’t someone I shared a newsletter link with access the story anymore?
Anyone who wants to read a story on Endpoints News needs to have their own account. If someone you’ve shared a link with doesn’t have an active account, they’ll be prompted to sign up or log in before reading. You can invite them to sign up and join the community.
10. Why are Endpoints News’ emails not reaching my inbox?
If you’re not seeing our newsletters or alerts in your inbox, your email filtering system may be blocking or quarantining them. To ensure reliable delivery:
First, check your junk or spam folder.
Try whitelisting us by adding @endpointsnews.com and @endpts.com to your contacts or safe sender list — this helps ensure our messages reach your inbox.
If issues continue, your IT team may need to set up custom rules within your email filtering software. The rule must match both of these conditions:
- The email is sent from one of domains: cmail1.com through cmail20.com (20 domains in total) and createsend7.com
- The “From” address contains endpointsnews.com or endpts.com
