FDA clears Pfizer's Covid-19 vaccine for children ages 5-11
The FDA has given Pfizer-BioNTech’s Covid-19 vaccine the go-ahead for emergency use in children between the ages of 5 and 11, making it possible for 28 million children to get the jab.
The approval has been long-awaited by families who are looking to vaccinate their remaining members. The dose will be one-third of the adult version, and for starters, kids will get two doses three weeks apart from each other.
