FDA clears Pfiz­er's Covid-19 vac­cine for chil­dren ages 5-11

The FDA has giv­en Pfiz­er-BioN­Tech’s Covid-19 vac­cine the go-ahead for emer­gency use in chil­dren be­tween the ages of 5 and 11, mak­ing it pos­si­ble for 28 mil­lion chil­dren to get the jab.

The ap­proval has been long-await­ed by fam­i­lies who are look­ing to vac­ci­nate their re­main­ing mem­bers. The dose will be one-third of the adult ver­sion, and for starters, kids will get two dos­es three weeks apart from each oth­er.
