FDA to cre­ate train­ing pro­gram to in­spect more mR­NA vac­cine man­u­fac­tur­ing

With new tech­nol­o­gy comes the chal­lenges of reg­u­lat­ing it. And with the ever-grow­ing faith be­ing poured in­to mR­NA tech­nol­o­gy the FDA has found it­self train­ing new in­ves­ti­ga­tors for more in­spec­tions go­ing for­ward.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors will learn about specifics re­lat­ed to Covid-19, in­fluen­za, com­bi­na­tion and can­cer vac­cines, as well as the ap­pli­ca­tion of test­ing meth­ods spe­cif­ic to mR­NA and the spe­cial con­sid­er­a­tion of con­t­a­m­i­na­tion con­trol, a re­cent no­tice from the FDA says. Train­ing ses­sions will in­clude on-de­mand record­ings and mod­ules, as well as ex­pe­ri­en­tial train­ing through ac­cess to a fa­cil­i­ty or lab­o­ra­to­ry with med­ical prod­uct man­u­fac­tur­ing. Aug­ment­ed re­al­i­ty and vir­tu­al re­al­i­ty will al­so be in­clud­ed.
