For­mer FDA chief of staff steps in­to VP role at Philip Mor­ris as CD­MO piv­ot con­tin­ues

If you read through the pub­licly re­leased (thanks FOIA) text mes­sages from for­mer FDA com­mis­sion­er Stephen Hahn dur­ing the height of the pan­dem­ic in 2020, there’s an­oth­er name that comes up as of­ten as his does, and it’s Kea­gan Leni­han.

Serv­ing as Hahn’s chief of staff dur­ing one of the most crit­i­cal pe­ri­ods of the pan­dem­ic so far (from June 2019 through Jan­u­ary 2021), and then as VP of op­er­a­tions at Al­toi­da since last April, Leni­han is now tak­ing on a new role as VP of gov­ern­ment af­fairs and pub­lic pol­i­cy at Philip Mor­ris.
