For­mer Terns CEO Senthil Sun­daram pass­es away fol­low­ing bat­tle with can­cer

Senthil Sun­daram, a sea­soned biotech ex­ec­u­tive who most re­cent­ly served as CEO of Terns Phar­ma­ceu­ti­cals, has passed away, the com­pa­ny said late Mon­day.

Sun­daram had been bat­tling can­cer since ear­ly 2022, when Terns dis­closed he would “un­der­go ag­gres­sive treat­ment” and lim­it cer­tain busi­ness ac­tiv­i­ties such as trav­el. But he stayed on as CEO un­til Au­gust of this year, when he de­cid­ed to step down. He passed away on No­vem­ber 22, ac­cord­ing to Terns.
