Fu­ji­film Diosynth breaks ground on $300M ex­pan­sion project in Texas

As Fu­ji­film Diosynth con­tin­ues its ex­pan­sion dri­ve in Eu­rope, the com­pa­ny is al­so mov­ing ahead with a ma­jor ex­pan­sion project in the Lone Star State, lift­ing the lid on the price tag and size of the project.

The com­pa­ny broke ground on a $300 mil­lion, 138,000-square-foot ex­pan­sion at Fu­ji­film’s GMP man­u­fac­tur­ing fa­cil­i­ty in Col­lege Sta­tion, TX. The project is al­so sup­port­ed by a $1.5 mil­lion award giv­en by the Texas En­ter­prise Fund, an ini­tia­tive from the state of Texas which gives out grants to com­pa­nies con­sid­er­ing a new project for which Texas is com­pet­ing with oth­er sites out of the state.
