CRO deal space con­tin­ues to buzz as Gen­e­sis Drug Dis­cov­ery buys JSS Med­ical Re­search

Gen­e­sis Drug Dis­cov­ery and De­vel­op­ment has ac­quired CRO JSS Med­ical Re­search as deal­mak­ing in the con­tract re­search sec­tor heats up.

JSS, based in Mon­tre­al, pro­vides clin­i­cal de­vel­op­ment ser­vices for biotechs, phar­mas and med­ical de­vice com­pa­nies. Ac­cord­ing to a re­lease, the deal will give cus­tomers of Gen­e­sis Drug Dis­cov­ery and the wider Gen­e­sis Glob­al Group ac­cess to drug re­search and dis­cov­ery ser­vices in­clud­ing clin­i­cal tri­al man­age­ment, da­ta man­age­ment, bio­sta­tis­tics and oth­er clin­i­cal tri­al and re­search ma­te­ri­als.
