Hori­zon cooks up new rare dis­ease aware­ness cam­paign with blind Mas­terChef Chris­tine Ha

When Chris­tine Ha first ap­peared as a Mas­terChef con­tes­tant, she walked in­to the stu­dio with a white cane, sur­pris­ing judges and rais­ing ques­tions on the TV cook­ing show all the way to the fi­nal round — which she won.

That was 10 years ago and now Ha, who has since writ­ten a cook­book and launched two restau­rants, is team­ing up with Hori­zon Ther­a­peu­tics to raise aware­ness about the rare con­di­tion neu­romyelitis op­ti­ca spec­trum dis­or­der (NMOSD) that caused her sight loss.
