
Horizon cooks up new rare disease awareness campaign with blind MasterChef Christine Ha
When Christine Ha first appeared as a MasterChef contestant, she walked into the studio with a white cane, surprising judges and raising questions on the TV cooking show all the way to the final round — which she won.
That was 10 years ago and now Ha, who has since written a cookbook and launched two restaurants, is teaming up with Horizon Therapeutics to raise awareness about the rare condition neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) that caused her sight loss.
