US lawmakers in the House of Representatives are looking at multiple bills that would make changes to the Inflation Reduction Act, including how Medicare price negotiations are implemented and which drugs are eligible for exemptions.

In a three-hour hearing by the House Committee on Energy and Commerce on Thursday, representatives were particularly focused on the bipartisan Optimizing Research Progress Hope And New (ORPHAN) Cures Act and Maintaining Investments in New Innovation (MINI) Act.
