Hundreds at NYU walk out in protest of reports that David Sabatini may join faculty

New York University students, faculty and alumni have a lot to say about reports that prominent researcher David Sabatini — who resigned from MIT earlier this month amid sexual harassment allegations — could soon be joining the faculty.

Hundreds of people staged a walkout across from NYU Langone Health on Wednesday, with signs that read “Students against Sabatini,” and “Does Title IX matter?” Title IX prohibits sex-based discrimination in education programs.
