INC Re­search promis­es 550 new jobs as it plots head­quar­ters move

INC Re­search has deep roots sunk in­to North Car­oli­na. And now it plans to shift its HQ from Raleigh to near­by Mor­risville as it looks to pick up mil­lions of dol­lars in state in­cen­tives aimed at keep­ing the big CRO in the state.

In reach­ing for some $10 mil­lion in state and lo­cal cash, INC is promis­ing to in­vest $38 mil­lion in the state, adding 550 jobs over the next 5 years.

Ac­cord­ing to The News & Ob­serv­er, INC al­ready has 1,375 staffers in the state, part of a big CRO in­dus­try that em­ploys some 63,000 in 125 com­pa­nies in­volved in con­tract drug de­vel­op­ment
