J&J changes Janssen phar­ma unit name, drops fa­mil­iar cur­sive lo­go in brand up­date

John­son & John­son is drop­ping the name Janssen for its phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal di­vi­sion and adopt­ing a con­tem­po­rary vi­su­al iden­ti­ty as part of a brand up­date an­nounced to­day.

Janssen Phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal Com­pa­ny of John­son & John­son is now John­son & John­son In­no­v­a­tive Med­i­cine, with the name change set to be phased in over time, the com­pa­ny said in a press re­lease, while its sib­ling di­vi­sion John­son & John­son MedTech will keep the same name.
