Talc marketing claims against J&J close to potential settlement with 40+ states
Johnson & Johnson is working on a $700 million settlement deal to resolve talc claims from more than 40 states, according to multiple publications.
J&J’s worldwide VP of litigation Erik Haas, who confirmed the leaked deal in a statement to Endpoints News, noted that J&J’s talc resolution progress includes “an agreement in principle that the Company reached with a consortium of 43 State Attorneys Generals to resolve their talc claims.”
