J&J social media program aims to add more diverse voices in lung cancer advocacy

J&J is inviting underrepresented people in the lung cancer community to become digital advocates through its “BeLUNG Here” initiative.

Lung cancer patients and caregivers can sign up to join an educational program, co-created along with advocates, to learn from experienced experts about social media, advocacy, storytelling and community building. Anyone affected by lung cancer can apply, but the goal is to add more diverse voices in lung cancer advocacy, said Chumi Khurana, VP of US sales and marketing for solid tumors at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine.
