Judge tosses PhRMA's suit over drug price negotiations in a win for the Biden administration
A federal court in west Texas yesterday tossed the industry group PhRMA and other associations’ suit over the Inflation Reduction Act’s drug price negotiations, serving up a major win for the Biden administration, which is still facing about ten other suits in various federal courts.
In the PhRMA case, judge David Alan Ezra ruled that the court lacks the appropriate jurisdiction over one of the other parties that filed, the National Infusion Center Association, which was the only party that resided in this court’s district.
