Leg­end's new CMO will bring in more cell ther­a­py part­ners; Pre­ci­sion founders get back in Tune to­geth­er

Mythili Koneru re­turned to her child­hood stomp­ing grounds of New Jer­sey last Fri­day to lead the med­ical op­er­a­tions at Leg­end Biotech, where she’ll dri­ve the cell ther­a­py mak­er’s ex­pan­sion in­to sol­id tu­mors and off-the-shelf op­tions.

Leg­end will tap in­to her busi­ness de­vel­op­ment chops, built dur­ing a stint at Eli Lil­ly, as it looks to ink more part­ner­ships on the back of its suc­cess­ful col­lab­o­ra­tion with John­son & John­son‘s Janssen, which helped so­lid­i­fy the biotech as one of the ear­ly lead­ers in cell ther­a­py with the ap­proval of Carvyk­ti.
