Less than a year af­ter leav­ing Al­ler­gan, Brent Saun­ders has a $1.1B deal to take his SPAC pub­lic

Brent Saun­ders has found a buy­er for his SPAC — and the end re­sult is a deal worth over a bil­lion dol­lars. Saun­ders’ Ves­per Health Ac­qui­si­tion Corp. is re­verse-merg­ing with Hy­draFa­cial Co., a com­pa­ny that makes skin­care prod­ucts sold by re­tail­ers, in a move val­ued at $1.1 bil­lion.

Though the news con­cludes the rough­ly three-month search for a part­ner af­ter Saun­ders an­nounced the launch of the SPAC in Sep­tem­ber, that like­ly means Saun­ders isn’t fin­ished wheel­ing and deal­ing. He’s mov­ing in as ex­ec­u­tive chair­man and bring­ing in his close as­so­ciate, Man­isha Narasimhan, as chief strat­e­gy of­fi­cer.
