Lynn Seely brings ex-My­ovant col­league to Lyel­l's C-suite; Nkar­ta, Zai Lab name new CFOs

→ Lyell Im­munophar­ma, the cell ther­a­py shop co-found­ed and chaired by Rick Klaus­ner that made the End­points 11 in 2020, has tapped Matthew Lang as CBO, chief le­gal of­fi­cer and cor­po­rate sec­re­tary. Lang and first-year Lyell CEO Lynn Seely know each oth­er well from their days at My­ovant, when Seely was chief ex­ec­u­tive and Lang filled such roles as chief ad­min­is­tra­tive and le­gal of­fi­cer, and man­ag­ing di­rec­tor/gen­er­al man­ag­er of Eu­ro­pean op­er­a­tions. To close out near­ly eight years with Gilead, Lang was VP, head of glob­al lit­i­ga­tion, in­ves­ti­ga­tions, em­ploy­ment law and in­for­ma­tion gov­er­nance.
