Manufacturing roundup: EuroAPI to acquire oligonucleotide maker for $10M+; EU nations face Trulicity shortage
EuroAPI will acquire German-based BianoGMP, a contract manufacturer of oligonucleotides, for €10 million, or $10.9 million.
Founded in 2017, BianoGMP mainly focuses on producing oligonucleotides for customers doing pre-clinical or Phase I work. EuroAPI is purchasing the company as it is boosting its oligonucleotide production business. Last year, EuroAPI said it was spending €18 million, or $19.5 million, for new equipment at its manufacturing site in Frankfurt to produce around 500 kilograms of oligonucleotides per year by 2025.
