
Manufacturing roundup: EuroAPI to invest $50M+ in Hungary site; WuXi to expand German facility
Active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturer EuroAPI is looking to make a €50 million ($53.4 million) investment into boosting production at its facility in Budapest, Hungary.
According to a release, EuroAPI’s expansion plans to “debottleneck” the production at the facility along with doubling the facility’s output of prostaglandin by 2027. Prostaglandin is a lipid used in the production of APIs. The project also aims to bolster the manufacturer’s operations in Hungary.
