Man­u­fac­tur­ing roundup: Phlow opens lab in Vir­ginia; Grand Riv­er Asep­tic Man­u­fac­tur­ing pur­chas­es more land close to home

The API man­u­fac­tur­er Phlow, along with the US Phar­ma­copeia, has opened a new lab close to its HQ in cen­tral Vir­ginia.

Phlow an­nounced the lab at the Ad­vanced Phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal De­vel­op­ment Cen­ter at the Vir­ginia Biotech­nol­o­gy Re­search Park in Rich­mond, VA. The lab will be ad­ja­cent to Vir­ginia Com­mon­wealth Uni­ver­si­ty’s Med­i­cines for All In­si­ti­tute and will aim to pro­vide phar­ma, biotech com­pa­nies and the US gov­ern­ment with R&D ser­vices for small mol­e­cule APIs and start­ing ma­te­ri­als.
