Man­u­fac­tur­ing roundup: Ther­mo Fish­er opens fa­cil­i­ty in Sin­ga­pore; Forge Bi­o­log­ics to part­ner with con­sor­tium to man­u­fac­ture AAVs

Ther­mo Fish­er Sci­en­tif­ic opened the doors to a new ster­ile drug fa­cil­i­ty in Sin­ga­pore.

The new fa­cil­i­ty, which was set up with as­sis­tance from the Sin­ga­pore Eco­nom­ic De­vel­op­ment Board, aims to pro­vide vac­cine fill-fin­ish ca­pa­bil­i­ties and oth­er de­vel­op­ment and man­u­fac­tur­ing ser­vices. It will al­so have a fill-fin­ish line for small and large mol­e­cules.

Ther­mo Fish­er al­ready has a pres­ence in Sin­ga­pore with sev­er­al lab­o­ra­to­ries that fo­cus on bio­pro­cess­ing, life sci­ence and an­a­lyt­i­cal ser­vices.
