The De­part­ment of Health and Hu­man Ser­vices’ “We Can Do This” vac­ci­na­tion cam­paign now has the num­bers to show that yes, it did – at least in reach­ing most peo­ple in the US with its mes­sage.

HHS’ launched more than 1,500 paid ads in 14 dif­fer­ent lan­guages and 39 bil­lion im­pres­sions un­der the “We Can” cam­paign be­gun in April 2021. But what do all those im­pres­sions mean? Ac­cord­ing to the Nielsen ver­i­fied tal­ly, the mes­sages reached 95.5% of all US adults an av­er­age of 20.9 times from April to Sep­tem­ber last year.
