Mer­ck is dou­bling down with new Gar­dasil 9 hu­man pa­pil­lo­mavirus vac­cine mes­sag­ing for young adults. A new TV com­mer­cial ex­tends its ef­forts, be­gun last year, to reach adults up to age 45. In the ad, ac­tive young peo­ple (ac­tors) ex­er­cise while a voiceover points out num­bers “that could stop you in your tracks” like the tens of thou­sands who are di­ag­nosed with cer­tain HPV-re­lat­ed can­cers each year.
