No­vo Nordisk is team­ing up with a pro­fes­sion­al soc­cer play­er — Dan­ish pro foot­baller Kasper Dol­berg — who’s liv­ing with type 1 di­a­betes to high­light the pos­si­bil­i­ties of a life with the chron­ic dis­ease. Dol­berg tells his sto­ry in videos on so­cial me­dia, in­clud­ing YouTube, In­sta­gram and LinkedIn, about be­ing di­ag­nosed and the un­cer­tain­ty about whether he would still be able to play. Dol­berg, who plays for the Den­mark na­tion­al team, was di­ag­nosed in 2021, No­vo Nordisk said, and “came as quite a shock.”
