Mar­ket­ingRx roundup: Pfiz­er lead­ers join speak­er line­up at Cannes ad fest; Jazz re­ups sleep spon­sor­ship

Pfiz­er’s chief com­mer­cial of­fi­cer An­gela Hwang and chief mar­ket­ing of­fi­cer Drew Panayiotou will be speak­ing at the an­nu­al Cannes Li­ons glob­al ad­ver­tis­ing cre­ativ­i­ty fes­ti­val in June. The two were an­nounced last week among the first line­up of speak­ers set to take the stage at the an­nu­al con­fab in the south of France.

No word yet on what they’ll be speak­ing about. How­ev­er, they’ll be in good ex­ec­u­tive com­pa­ny along with peo­ple such as the chief mar­ket­ing of­fi­cer of Mas­ter­card, chief brand of­fi­cer of Proc­ter & Gam­ble, and the pres­i­dent of Levi Strauss, plus celebri­ties in­clud­ing artist mu­si­cian will.i.am and Olympic gold medal­ist Michael John­son.
