It is ap­par­ent­ly easy be­ing green if you’re a phar­ma com­pa­ny.

Sev­en­teen phar­ma com­pa­nies made Newsweek’s first-ever list of “green­est com­pa­nies,” in­clud­ing many of the largest ones. Eli Lil­ly, John­son & John­son, Mer­ck, Ab­b­Vie, Bris­tol My­ers Squibb and sev­er­al oth­ers nabbed at least four or more stars to make the 2024 list, while Am­gen, Gilead Sci­ences, Ver­tex, Seagen and Pfiz­er all notched per­fect fives.
