Mer­ck scoops up new chief mar­ket­ing of­fi­cer from Bio­gen's neu­rol­o­gy busi­ness

Mer­ck’s new chief mar­ket­ing of­fi­cer is join­ing from Bio­gen – and mak­ing a re­turn to Mer­ck. Chir­fi Guin­do has been lead­ing Bio­gen’s neu­rol­o­gy busi­ness glob­al strat­e­gy, mar­ket­ing and com­mer­cial­iza­tion since 2017, but be­fore that spent 25 years in var­i­ous roles at Mer­ck.

Guin­do takes over the top mar­ket­ing spot at Mer­ck va­cat­ed in April by Arpa Garay whose four-month tenure in the post end­ed when she left to be­come chief com­mer­cial of­fi­cer at Mod­er­na.
