Mod­er­na strikes a deal with Cana­da to build an mR­NA man­u­fac­tur­ing cen­ter — and it’s look­ing for more glob­al pacts just like it

The fast-grow­ing mR­NA biotech Mod­er­na has struck a deal to build a new man­u­fac­tur­ing fa­cil­i­ty in Cana­da that will pro­vide a full sup­ply of their vac­cines to the US neigh­bor up north. And the com­pa­ny sees this al­liance as the ba­sic tem­plate that they can use in oth­er coun­tries around the world — many of which have been scram­bling for any sup­plies of the Covid-19 vac­cine they can get.
