Mod­er­na to pur­chase and in­vest more than $320M in MA bio­man­u­fac­tur­ing site

mR­NA vac­cine leader Mod­er­na will be ex­pand­ing its man­u­fac­tur­ing ap­pa­ra­tus not far from its home in Cam­bridge, MA.

Ac­cord­ing to a city coun­cil agen­da for the city of Marl­bor­ough, MA, Mod­er­na plans to pur­chase a 140,000-square-foot bio­man­u­fac­tur­ing fa­cil­i­ty at 149 Hayes Memo­r­i­al Dr., which al­so comes with a 24-acre par­cel of land. The pub­lic doc­u­ment states that the fa­cil­i­ty will con­duct man­u­fac­tur­ing as well as have of­fice space.
