Mol­e­c­u­lar Tem­plates cuts more staff just months af­ter let­ting go half of work­force

On­col­o­gy start­up Mol­e­c­u­lar Tem­plates is cut­ting 44% of its work­force and re­struc­tur­ing a debt agree­ment as it tries to stay afloat or find a buy­er.

The lay­offs fol­low wider cuts in March, when Mol­e­c­u­lar Tem­plates an­nounced it was elim­i­nat­ing the jobs of about half of its em­ploy­ees. The Austin, TX-based com­pa­ny has said that it’s seek­ing strate­gic al­ter­na­tives for its busi­ness, which could mean a sale, fi­nanc­ing or sell­ing in­di­vid­ual as­sets.
