More than 100 House and Senate Republicans call on new FDA commish to reverse order on mail-order abortion pills
As the conservative-leaning majority on the Supreme Court is widely expected to roll back abortions nationwide, Republican senators Kevin Cramer of North Dakota joined Cindy Hyde-Smith of Mississippi and more than 120 other House and Senate colleagues to demand that newly minted FDA commissioner Rob Califf restore more stringent oversight of abortion pills as the agency permanently lifted in-person dispensing requirements in December.
