The intense criticism already leveled against AstraZeneca on its Covid-19 vaccine reached fever pitch on Tuesday afternoon after the Washington Post reported that the NIH’s safety oversight panel had called them out for using “outdated and potentially misleading” data in its Monday press release claiming positive results. And the experts called out the pharma giant for further undercutting public confidence in the scientific process used to confirm these vaccines.
